Swap 12v for 120v Fridge Element? UPDATE 2
EDIT--it turned out you can't swap them--they are not the same and it would fry things if you applied 120v to the 12v element ---------------------- UPDATE 25 Jan--12v is cooling down the freezer....

I know that the 12 volt in my rv works far better when the converter is sending 14.4 to it. I would imagine one could get a dc to dc converter and boost the input voltage to just the element. Whether that would make enough improvement to be worthwhile or not I do not know.
I wonder if the a solar panel could be direct connected to the 12 volt element?
You just want me to do more tests! I have an adjustable voltage converter I could dedicate to that job while the installed converter is at the usual 13.6. First we have to see how it does overnight at 13.6v
