You will need another junction box
The existing wires, and the new inverter circuit will meet at the junction box and another cable/cord will run from the junction box to the out let
Basically you will remove the out let from the existing box
Bring your new circuit to that box
Connect both circuits to the switch
Bring out a wire to a New box for the out let
The switch has 6 connections
The output for the fridge goes on the two center connections
The old circuit goes on one end
The new circuit on the other end p
Flipping the switch one way or the other choices circuit
This is for hot and neutral
It does not switch the ground wire
Most likely wired in romex, which has a bare ground wire
Connect the ground together, only the grounds, nothing else
Or do it the easy way
Buy a 15/20 amp plug and play transfer switch
It comes with an outlet and two male plugs
Run your new circuit to the fridge area
Plug the transfer switch into both circuits, outlets from New and old
Plug fridge into transfer switch
