So, in additional conversations with the company owner (offering the 300AH units), he suggests that when wiring the units in parallel, I would actually be doubling the C factor (if the spec on one battery is 100A continuous, then in parallel it is 200A, if I parallel 4x100AH units, it would be 400A continuous). 200AH would give me comfortable margin if true at .5C, even if not meeting .2C (for that I guess I would need to go to a bigger bank, which isn`t in the cards). Typical limited use for me would put me slightly below .3c (=180A) which seems reasonably close enough.
I share the concern on low temp charging, but in reality we never camp beyond Canadian Thanksgiving (mid-Oct) and it`s rare to get down that low (-20C) at that time of year. The Relion LT units have build in heating, waiting for pricing on those...
