phemens is there a SOC meter where you can see the % of batteries?
Most dropin require a voltage of 14.4-14.6 (3.6 vpc +/-) for it to recalibrate the SoC meter. I've seen post on other forums of dropin users keeping the the bulk at 13.9v - 14.1 and having the SoC meter be out of sync with actual available %. But maybe those batteries you have are different?
Yes when not in use (storage) SoC 50% +/- not floating but if using over the weekend or long trip just lower the float setting (mine is set at 13.6) and use what the solar can produce while the sun is up.
