My 30a shore power cords have all been with #10 wires to the Main breaker. Do newer RVs with 30a now have #8 in theirs?
OP, I don't know about Samlex. ISTR it was Magnums guys on here were complaining about for how badly their DC output was affected by lower 120v input (not that low either, even only down to 117ish IIRC) and also their amps displays didn't show that, but the display on the remote did. Whatever it was all about, it might help to have the #8 for input with the Samlex if it does that?
My converter/charger holds it amps output down to a lower value of 120v, ( suppose to hold until 105a) but it does lose some once down near there.
