Switching from Genny to Shore Power under load----bad?

I meant to unplug the shore power before cranking the air conditioners. Was curious what the converter would choose. Figured it would have to have some type of safety switch or people who store at home plugged into shore power but cycle their genny once a month would have constant failures and be a common talked about no no.

Turning the genny off while on shore power with the a/c running was a total brain dead mistake on my part i was disappointed. Trying to baby the trailer best i can its my first one.
