Switching from Genny to Shore Power under load----bad?

Got to the trailer and started the genny its been over a month. Then plugged into shore power with an amp reader because i was curious if it would switch over. Started the A/C and let it run for aw...

Thanks for saying that!!!! You reminded me there was a GFCI buried behind a tool bench that failed over 5 years ago. Cut it out and twisted the wires together. Its only 5 feet from the panel.

Voltage drop went from 123v to 106v on the outlet 30' away. But only dropped to 121v on the new closer outlet. Makes me feel happy to make the A/C happy!!!
