First, plug the magnetic lights into another vehicle with a trailer connector to see if the tail lights work. If so, the problem is in your RV/connector. If not, the problem is in the lights. You can check the bulbs/wiring.
I bought magnetic lights at Harbor Freight 7 years ago that were miswired. I had to rewire them, but for $9.99, I didn't care. (On mine, the two filaments were wired backward. The dim filament was the turn signal/brake light and the bright filament was the tail light.)
