Solution was to add a new external connection just for sat. I bought an external coax connector with rubber cap, drilled a hole fhru the outside wall near the TV, installed an inside coax conn wall plate at the TV, and connected the two via a short coax cable. Works fine with the Tailgater.
Did something similar. The computer desk is right next to our enterainment center. There was an external connection for a hard wired telephone. Replaced that with a coax fitting so I can now go from the Tailgater to the Dish box with just one coupler. Works fine.
