Do you pay for the locals as part of your package with Dish? they are optional. Call them back and talk to someone else. I had a problem after I put my service on hold thinking we would have cable at the RV park. I called and told them to turn it back on and that my receiver would need to be re-flashed as I hadn't used it in months. Couldn't get it to work. Three days later after many calls and ordering a new Tailgater I asked them if they were sure they had turned it back on. Answer was "Oh yes"...funny, after that call it started to work. I would call King Controls and run it by them if you have any questions.
