Same here on 2003 F-250 and 2004 F-350
C.B. - Dave_H_MExplorer IIJack, unless you have researched all possibilities for that purpose, be careful about asking a question like that cus all folks with Timbrens will pony up.
There are other methods out there in the works that provide the same service like air bags that can be adjusted to your need.
just saying, - longrider1100ExplorerSo far our Timbrens have been great. The truck stays level with a heavy fiver on it. The ride is great while towing.
These are not shackles but are oversized bump stops that attach to the truck frame above the axle where the factory bump stops were.
They are most commonly used on pickups that haul salt and plows for snow and ice control. They are easy to install and we got the heavy duty ones, there were two sizes available for our truck. - j-dExplorer IIA number of us have bought upgrade parts from SD Truck Springs I don't know if you'll actually want to get Timbrens but SD's deal might be worth a look. Also helpful when you call them.
There's also a competing product called SULASTIC. I've heard a few good remarks about their rear leaf shackle kits for Ford leaf springs. That's not enough for an across-the-board comparison but thought I'd mention it. - edatlantaExplorer III have them on my TV. They work great and require zero maintenance.
