During the period of the California Rolling Blackouts some reporter did an unbiased survey of state representatives. Both parties. An overwhelming majority fled. Not to Sacramento either.
So, it's not an issue of riding the elephant or pinning the tail on the Donkey. The whole freakin' zoo is to blame. A politician's interests consists of 50% revenue generation and 50% PAC funding. Absolutely nothing about helping people get affordable USA panels into their hands.
