Maybe !
If you can build a big enough audience, then yes. It takes a log time and a lot of work to build that audience. The Wynn's ARE successful at it and still doing well now that their "yacht" is actually on water.
A good topic, personality and decent videography are what creates a successful YouTube channel. A nice looking narrator/couple helps ! - groundhogyExplorerSailing in the ocean can be very dangerous, so if they are still alive...
..... but I guess I've seen some really lucky sail boaters. Probability will get you in the end though. - GordonThreeExplorerSeveral of the RV bloggers I used to watch spend so much time reviewing gadgets, either openly admitting they're commercials or just go on about something they claim to discover themselves.
I wish they'd go back to reviewing their travels, the locations they visit, etc. - ken56ExplorerHonestly I don't understand the fascination with bloggers. Really? 26 minutes about a leaking tire. Good for them if they can make a living off of getting followers and sponsors for their blog. I am not a fan of any of them.
- pianotunaNomad IIIThere are much better sources than the Wynns.
- jharrellExplorerThey helped get me into RVing and also pointed me towards the Micro-Air Easy Start for running my A/C off inverter.
Say what you will but their videos have some of the best info about Rv electrical, solar, lithium, gas vs diesel, mpg and other hard to find reliable info.
Don't follow them much now that they moved on to sailing, not my thing.

I didn't watch the whole video, but sometimes you wonder if someone is really that stupid, or whether it's all a total setup. Heck, they could be laughing all the way to the bank.
Many times I believe it's the latter, most YouTube creators seem to fumble, curse, make dumb mistakes, etc. It works to bring back viewers next time, I guess? - Tom_M1ExplorerI met the Wynns three or four years ago in Florida. They make money by testing and reviewing RV products. I don't know if I would trust any of their reviews after seeing the YouTube video.

So where did they get the dough?

There’s even a couple of posters on this board that periodically pop up with a new thread that is nothing but a tout for their latest YouTube video.
Make no mistake, it’s a for profit venture.
