And that's because in a "dead battery" situation, 8 amps ain't worth hookin up !
That's what people who haven't used an EU2000i to charge/start a car with a dead battery say….
I have used mine a dozen times or more... That ($12) charge cord is worth its weight in gold!
I'd rather have a usb and cig lighter sockets.
The cig'-socket and USB ports would need to be voltage regulated… which means additional cost. Not to mention the fact that a 100cc gasoline powered generator is the least efficient method I can think of to charge portable electronic devices.
