Hi All,
We want to install and remove it after use.
Want to temp bridge a street front drainage ditch. Our relatives are able to get their small Class C through it and onto their property. We have a very large single axle Class A pusher, and are not in the mood to try this without some sort of temp bridge engineering. Seems you could arrange concrete retaining wall blocks in there for tire pathways, but they weigh 50lbs each. The area has hard clay soil, so sinking is not an issue.
We want to EASILY install and remove it after use.
How do yo pros suggest we handle this "temp bridge" over an earthen drainage ditch?
!!! Thanks in advance !!!
Sort of depends on how DEEP AND WIDE the "ditch" is on just how "easy" it will be to install and remove..
Your RV is going to be pushing easily 18K-20K lbs split between front and rear if it was distributed equally that would be about 5K lbs per wheel.. But it isn't so you most likely will have several wheels carrying 6K lbs or better..
Depending on width of the ditch you are going to need some pretty brute strength materials to make this happen.
SORRY, you are going to have a rather difficult time moving and handling ANY material that would be sufficient strength to take this kind of weight..
In a sense you are trying to build a portable bridge..
