Accepting the fact you're getting screwed doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
Your analogies are wrong. The owners didn't buy a V8 engine - they bought a V6 engine. Which is what they got. The fact that Tesla creates the V6 engine by disabling 2 cylinders on the V8 engine does not change what they bought.
