Exists and has been flown, Delivered a load of water to the upper atmosphere or near outer space as I recall. Been a few years since I had coffee with the engineers. (But as it happens I'm wearing the proper T-Shirt just now.. Long story, another of my hobbies is science and science fiction.. This one is Science).
