"Best" is relative in the context of charging RV batteries just like "best" is relative in motive power applications. There are a few necessities and adjuncts in an RV solar system that would temper "the best" to be equal, better, or not as worthy in the whole system.
I think the Sanyo HIT S series (if I have the nomenclature correct) has an even higher rated efficiency than the N series as it develops power from the back side of the cell module. I know this was rolled out by Sanyo at least a year ago for demonstration purposes but don't know if they reached distribution.
It is an exciting time for solar module technology and, if we live long enough, may see efficiencies that make current modules seem obsolete. Thanks for posting about the Sanyo panels.
