If it has the remote on/off switch, just turn it off overnight from inside the rig. If you have to go outside in the dark and rain to turn it off and on, that's different. (Unless the standby draw is still trivial in the big picture)
My cheapie doesn't have a remote :).
I made it a long power cord, with anderson connector. Now I can reach teh off switch from bed :).
I have not yet figured out whether it has a draw when plugged in but switched off. If worried, I unplug.
