Mine ( MSW) draws 0.5 amps at idle. Before turning it on with nothing else in the trailer on except the usual LP alarm etc, I see 0.3 amps on the Trimetric. Turn on the inverter, no 120v load, amps jump to 0.8
I ended up with a 3000w because it was on sale cheaper than a 2000 when I needed to replace my 2000.
They go on sale for about $180 every few months. I would not pay the regular price ever! It is made by Xantrex.
