IMHO, the first priority is to as much as possible stay with appliances that operate direcly off 12 volt DC ... then use a pure sine wave inverter for appliances where this is not possible. We carry along a 300 watt PSW inverter for such things as tooth brush charging, shaver charging and printer powering, and use either our medium power or high power generator for 120 volt AC power above 300 watts.
