"Suicide plug" .... not hardly.
Only I (captain of the RV) occasionally hook it up, and both exposed male pins on both ends of the short jumper are plugged into their respective places BEFORE I fire up the inverter. This is a very simple way to occasionally have a small inverter be a whole-RV inverter - without going outside in sometimes lousy weather to do it via hooking up the main RV power cable to an inverter that I have to also somehow keep out of the weather then also get connected to the coach batteries.
