Fuel injection doesn't need to mess about with propane as there are no jets to clog. Had a 25hp EFI Outboard and fuel issues were a non-issue as there was no carb to gum up. Propane options are mostly to solve carb issues.
The weight isn't really a big deal one way or the other. Currently have a Yamaha 2400 that weighs in around 70lb but peak is well above 2400w, so this is only bringing it down by 12lb. It's not going to make a big difference either way.
Fuel injection is a game changer in my mind but the question is the cost being a honda, I would be shocked if it comes in under $2k and there are a lot of great options for half that.
