Does propane benefit from fuel injection?
It is a more "precise" delivery of fuel. Aftermarket conversion kit would be difficult. (You would have to shut off the fuel pump and the injector.)
Without "feedback" (ie. an exhaust gas oxygen, O2/EGO sensor) or at least a good way of measuring the amount of air going into the engine (mass air flow, MAF sensor) you really are just making an "educated guess" at how much fuel (liquid or gaseous) to inject. The big win would be for high altitude operation assuming it has away of measuring the ambient air pressure. Another win would be the fuel pump is likely inside the tank, so it is always stored "wet". Still susceptible to clogging from old fuel, but less likely.
(You have my "juices flowing" ! I have over 30 years experience designing and developing automotive fuel injection systems, including LP and LNG. Now I really want to see what is inside.) - pianotunaNomad IIIDoes propane benefit from fuel injection?

- philhExplorer IIhhmmmmm, I might be in the market for a new genset.
Probably not, I've needed to use my slightly lighter 2500w exactly one time if 3 years! - wa8yxmExplorer III58 pounds? (how much does your wife's purse weigh?????) Ok been a while but I remember a few that were darn close to that :)
No problem for me - I don't use mine much. Like to see a factory propane version.

Nice gen, but 10 more pounds would be too much for my old back.
This is mostly psychological. Just changing screen name to Not2oldman, would add 10 lbs more capability. If already set up to parallel, no need though! :C
