Hydrogen sulfide is no joke.
From OSHA....Fifty percent of people exposed to hydrogen sulfide for just five minutes at 800 ppm will not survive, and a single breath at 1000 ppm causes immediate death.
People and animals have died at the beach from decomposing Seaweed and algae.
