Progressive dynamics already has a converter for lithium batteries.
You are only going to get about 80 amps DC out of a Honda 2000 but 80 amps right to 95%+ charge would be sweet.

Actually the description says it goes 14.6 volts and is adjustable...
Anyone think this would be interesting on a wet cell?
I assume it kicks immediately down to float as it hits the target voltage similar to the PowerMax.
Actually does that make the PowerMax a good lithium charger?
