The 70a model could work with a Honda eu2000i, but not the 80a.
From the Advertisement:
"Lithium ion batteries also require battery chargers that can produce a higher voltage than provided by standard 12-volt or 24-volt lead/acid battery chargers. Trying to recharge a lithium ion battery with a standard lead/acid charger will result in a partially charged battery and may REDUCE BATTERY Life!"
The blurb says most lead acid chargers cannot provide high enough voltage for charging lithium??? But it's your standard CONVERTER-CHARGER, factory preset to 13.6 Vabs, that cannot provide the voltage needed. All my chargers go to 16(+) volts, including my two modded powermax's. 14.6v is child's play. It appears the blurb for the newest and bestest converter is targeted at those who have accepted 13.6v as an acceptable Vabs for fla's.
