I don't think my Mega Watt S35-12 with a max of 15.56V at 33 amp output is going to be enough for a or 80 amp FePo battery, it says it needs 16.0V to get all the cells topped off at 4.0V each, equally charged, to get and keep them fully equalize charged instead of undercharged.
I wonder if the BCM with 17.0V input at 8.4 Amps from a solar panel would do the job? Does the BCM cut the charging when the voltage per cell = 4.0 V or 16.0V overall? Does it cut back the milliamps flowed when the battery is close to being top off charged, the BCM? What functions do the BCM perform, and with how much margin, voltage and amperage wise?
