I wonder if the BCM with 17.0V input at 8.4 Amps from a solar panel would do the job? Does the BCM cut the charging when the voltage per cell = 4.0 V or 16.0V overall? Does it cut back the milliamps flowed when the battery is close to being top off charged, the BCM? What functions do the BCM perform, and with how much margin, voltage and amperage wise?
Your mega watt would work just fine. LFP dosent care how slow you are charging it. As an example my HVD would be around set at 3.7 volts per cell. No full blown bms LVD would be set at 2.9 volts per cell. And my solar CC would stop charging using amps hours. I strongly recommend that
17 volts NOT be concidered.
