Heck - we probably would not have gone as far with LFP as we have but our older son is in the commercial solar world (businesses and power companies - did a 1.6 MW system for power company last year) and he designed and fabricated our system as a family project along with grandson (we did pay grandson for his work) with me as a gopher (it was said at White Sands that my coming onto a project as the chief scientist on project had the same effect as the two best electronics and optical technicians leaving for the day).
We paid his contractor rate for the components and he got a great deal on the battery banks/battery boxes/BMS/ etc from Manzanita Micro.
Have been running the Dometic fridge since 9 am on AC. Sun is settling so I have turned it back to propane. We run the Dometic on AC 24 hours during high summer. Elaine has been using the microwave a lot today for a dinner at our daughter's.
jrnymn7 - from our experience with solar charging at midsummer 1000+ W from solar (80+ amps at 12 V), you should be able to charge the top 125 A-hr (12 V) in about 1.5 to 2 hours. You will be at float for another hour or so. We are often at -5kW deficit (-400 A-hr at 12V) in the morning during mid-summer (from running a/c and fridge on AC and are fully charged by early afternoon while still running the fridge. We are harvesting around 5 kW-hr right now in southern NM.
