Mena I'm doing my best to try and campare lithium versus a top of the line AGM. My load tester insists this group 31 has 990 CCA. What comes out must go back in. So an all electric kitchen isn't in the forecast. I try to add things up. How many pounds will 400 AVAILABLE amp hours save?
I do not know and manufacturers seem to omit the lithium CEF charge efficiency factor. How much HEAT is released when a lithium battery is recharged at high rates? My pathetic laptop has always gotten very uncomfortably very warm in my lap when recharging. That is a tiny battery. It takes LOTS OF ENERGY to do that. Why do I not hear or read CEF figures?
I've glanced at the Tesla BMS it is there for a reason. Why is it the Tesla demands exotic monitoring and control and aftermarket batteries have a tiny percentage of the total BMS.
Am I missing something? Let me know and I'll whisper a word of encouragement to my Compaq.
