Agreed, but I needed to go on a low carb diet, so it was either switch to a low carb beer (yuck) or stop drinking beer, all together. At first, the latter choice may sound more reasonable, but once one factors in the beverage choices available when on a low carb diet, the obvious choice becomes much more clear. I never have been a soda drinker, and I despise the taste of artificial sweeteners, so that's not an option. I don't drink milk, and I gave up fruit juices. So what's left?
I recently switched from corona light (5g of carbs) to sleeman clear (2g of carbs), at a savings of $11/case, but I do partake of a good porter or stout on occasion.
