As for comparing FLA to AGM, I have never been that impressed by AGM. Partly because I've only heard "they charge faster", but have not been shown how much faster. And when I recently read an article published by Trojan, regarding AGM vs. FLA, I was left with a rather strong impression that even the Trojan Tech didn't see much advantage in going AGM; at least not where an RV application was concerned.
So the added cost of AGM, and the apparent lack of comparative info, has always deterred me from seriously considering it. But I am certainly open to a fair and honest comparison between FLA, AGM and LFP. In fact, it would be much appreciated.
Sounds like it's time for a thread about AGM charge times.
