No doubts whatsoever with a flooded battery comparison but my 31 AGM accepts DOUBLE the amperes, top tapers faster does not require equalization and holds a substantially higher operating voltage. Yes I am playing devil's advoocate but it needs to be done. The 31 exhibits over 900 CCA and has an extremely low rate of self discharge. Timewise it recharges fully in about 70% of the time the new flooded 31 took

Like I quipped.earlier let's not measure a Ferrari against a Checker cab, let's compare it to a Corvette.
