They brag about it being low cost. However, I have seen tens to hundreds of battery improvements.
If it does help with damage below 50% SoC, I'd pay a little bit extra for it, because that effectively doubles my battery capacity. I won't pay twice as much, but 10-25% more.
I just don't understand how supercaps are going to help. They don't hold much charge relatively. At best, they are used with solar/wind charging systems as an energy bank to allow the charge controller to continue charging the batteries even if a cloud goes by, or after the sun goes down. I especially don't understand how it prevents damage from being below 50% SoC...
