The common reason mosts folks give for needing and buying an Inverter, less noise and less weight. They win one of the two for sure.
I've seen some 2000i's listed running at as high as 5400 RPM with 74 dBA. Some describe the noise as 'screaming' running with full load. And how long could this unit operate runnig full tilt? My guess, the smaller the engine, the highest RPM is needed. I had high hopes the Champion 2000i would be 'the one to buy'
