Thermostat Failure ???

I guess like anything else a Thermostat (AC/Heater) can fail and needs to be replaced. We left our trailer on our winter lot and returned yesterday, and the AC won't shut off at the set temp. Anyone else have these to just decide not to work??

    Yes you can get to where your old Dometic thermostat control gizmo doesn't work right anymore. I was lucky and was able to buy a same kind one at an RV shop, but ISTR from more recent threads here that they are no longer sold.

    IIRC, you have to get the new kind and clear instructions on how to wire it to where the old one's wire's went.

    You can also get a different household type that has its own peculiar wiring instructions and there have been threads on that.

    What kind of thermostat is it, If its a Demotic you have to make sure the FAN is set to AUTO not LO or HI.
