Style II is problem prone......ball drive assembly goes thru side of toilet and when it loses lubrication it starts jamming not allowing full return of ball
Can't re-lube w/o disassemble of foot lever which is PITA and not worth doing repeatedly
Folks described their issues and yet you want to stick with it so tear it apart/grease it then later on repeat.
OR buy new better toilet
Yes, of course the II is different than the Plus, that's the point. Since the poster previous to mine has replace his II 3 times in 5 years, maybe it's time to make a model change. It appears the Plus won't fit though, but another brand/model might.
