I cannot seem to find this out online anywhere. I would like to confirm where the sensor is supposed to be. Can anyone prove where it should be? Thanks

Sorry but the question wasnt where does it go, it was can you prove it. No one has provided any documentation.
The actual ice is your proof of where the sensor is needed.
Will universally work for all models.
