I did a Google and it was worse than pwm/mppt or AGM/Wets! Seems there are different pipe dopes rated for different things. One guy said it was ok with natural gas but not with LP. Anyway it is another thing where you need to read the specs and the fine print and cross your fingers.
One thing was they say the tape is just a lubricant so you can tighten more. All I know with a water line is it leaks without the white tape, so the tape must be a sealer---unless it lets me tighten more so it doesn't leak! Arrgghh. Rather talk about something else. Anything else! :)
