The "sticker" states 210 a/h. I don't know if the Interstates sold at Costo are different than than those at Sams Club, but stickers are cheap and Costco is known for value and Walmart is known for CHEAP!

I just replaced my Interstate GC2 batteries that I bought in 2007. I figure that is pretty good life considering I was using the stock WFCO converter all those years. I did buy a new converter as I suspected it was giving issue when I never saw the voltmeter that is on my inverter that is 2 feet away was not getting above 13 volts.

Normal life expentency for those batteries with proper care 7-10 years
Yours (At 8) and mine (9 but I streatched it) both are well within that range.

I'm happy, you should be as well.

Here is hoping you get the full decade out of your new ones.

I was in BATTERY PLUS the other day and they will order the DURACELL GC2s for you and you can pick them up at the store.. I was looking at the 6V Duracell 230Ahs model and it was $110 I think it was... Check out their home page on-line - they have all of the DURACELLs listed as available. These come with a Warrenty also

I didn't ask about having cores. I don't have any GC2 cores so I am hoping they will take the bad GP24 12V Interstates I have here... I know at Walmart and other local places they don't really care what battery you bring in for a core replacement...

I purchased Trojan T-125's for the front of my 27 ft TT. I had the trailer for 10 years and sold it with those batteries. When we bought our new to us TT it wasn't even a thought to do it again. You get what you pay for. Trojans are designed for industrial use. The other key is to not allow them to discharge below 50% and pay attention to the fluid level. Every time they deep discharge and you charge them up, you are boiling the electrolyte so you will always need to add some more distilled water. Last a smart charger that varies the voltage and applies a stir charge 14.4 volts keeps the plates in good shape. I bough the charge wizard and plugged it into my dumb house charger to make it smart.

I might try them. Upgraded the WFCO 8955 to the PD 4655TV and that should help. Mine just didn't hang in there but don't think they were getting a good charge.
