Hi Folks,
I did change the serpentine belt in 2009 when I bought this unit.
It is a 2004 V-10 with about 70,000 miles on it.
Is it time to consider replacing all the rubber hoses?
I wouldn't just randomly change any hose due to age.
Instead I would recommend INSPECTING the hoses visually and by feeling the hoses for soft spots, cracking, weeping and such.
I have 200,000 miles on my 2003 F250, the hoses so far are still passing my visual and feel test..
I would however HIGHLY recommend that you inspect the transmission AND brake lines. A couple of years ago I had a rear brake line rust out behind the fuel tank, I had to haul the truck on my flat bed trailer to my mechanic. Cost me $200 to have the mechanic replace ALL the steel brake lines.
Recently just had a transmission cooler line develop a pin hole near the radiator. I replaced the steel with rubber transmission line for a quick fix. Took 6 quarts of fluid out of 17.7 quarts capacity and that was only driving 4 miles to get home.
