Tiny jumper packs/power supplies

I have not seen any other threads here concerning these products, and I'm pretty sure they would be of some interest to many on this forum. Not so much as a jumpstarter, but perhaps as a hint toward future electrical storage

These are claiming they alone can start small end even large engines, Not just assisting a regular depleted starting battery, but starting the engine just off this tiny jumper pack which weighs less than a pound.

I'm not sure how the limited number of cells which can fit inside the small casing can provide the CCA required. Perhaps some supercapacitors are employed.

Anyway,

Have at it:

  • My experience is that such things work great for a rig with a battery just dead enough to not quite crank, but if the battery is really, really dead, it'll need more.
  • I have several jump starter battery jobbies that cost about 1/2 what those are. I carried one along when I was using my brake buddy to plug it in instead of running down the toad battery. low amp hours as I recall. I see they limit it to small cars or somesuch which reeks of a lack of power to turn over a big motor. :)
