Tips on a neat finish for caulk?
This seems like a silly question, but how do you get a nice finish when caulking? I always seem to come away feeling like it's a mess. Any good tools to smooth it out?

I find if I use the minimum amount to fill the area to be caulked I can just dampen my finger and smooth it out easily. A lot has to do with how you cut the tip for the size crack your filling.
Some use painters blue tape and smooth it to the tape and then lift the tape for a clean line. That works really well if you have a black window frame and are using white caulk.
