Pressure Pro makes a very good system.
The Pressure Pro has two advantages over the TST that should be considered.
1. The Pressure Pro will alarm you of a lost tire sensor signal in less than 15 minutes. The TST will take 1 hour.
2. The Pressure Pro has a feature that lets you measure the signal strength of the tire sensors. This information will help you determine if an external antenna (the best method) or a repeater is necessary.
Last the Pressure Pro does have temperature alarms but does not display the temperature only an alarm when temperature is greater than 210° F.
I have had both the Pressure Pro (my first system) and the TST (My current system).
I went with the TST because it was time to replace the batteries in the Pressure Pro. I was able to get a complete TST 507 system for only few more dollars than replacing the batteries in the Pressure Pro.
Today I was readjusting the pressures on my 5th wheel with the TST 507 system. (I like the TPMS to report the same pressure on all 4 tires. Makes it easier to detect if something is going wrong on a tire).
Anyway I had the monitor next to the tire when I removed the sensor.
I noted a significant amount of time before the monitor alarmed. So I timed the next three. Two took 15 seconds two sensors to alarm and the last one took 5 seconds.
Another thing I noticed the monitor did flash a red led but only displayed the tire in trouble for a very short time. Then the monitor went back to the polling sequence. During this polling you only know there is a problem (flashing red led) but do not know what tire is in trouble. You have to watch the display and when it polls the tire in trouble you will see the pressure etc. But the monitor will continue to poll so if you were not looking at the monitor when it polled the tire in trouble you will have to wait for the next polling cycle. With 10 tires as I have that is along time.
The Pressure Pro will flash a red led next to the tire in trouble. It does not poll. That way you know what tire is in trouble and do not have to wait for a polling sequence.
I am considering going back to the Pressure Pro as in my mind it is a far superior system.
