- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerMichelin and BF Goodrich, around 4 years old. Checked for proper inflation. The tires just disintegrated when they blew. One each side of the rear. Then a front B.F. Goodrich got an inside bulge so big it rubbed on the tie-rod end. A General developed cracks parallel to the wheel rim at 3 years of age. This gets sort of tiring.
- the_bear_IIExplorerAfter about a year of looking through RV and Pickup truck forums, I chose to go with Michelins XPS Ribs....Based on the comments I read these tires seemed to have the fewest problems and many people reported that they lasted longer than any tire they had bought previously.
Although I haven't put a lot of miles on them I'm very satisfied with them after 1 1/2 years. - fla-gypsyExplorerI can't remember the last time I had a problem with a major brand truck tire. is this something that happens to you frequently? What brand have you been using?
