I agree with everything Sam had mentioned. Use 12GA wire or better and you should use batteries of equal size and equal capacity when setting them up in parallel. I do this all the time, I work for a heavy equipment co. (Caterpillar) and I am very familiar with 12v, 24v, and 32v systems. Good Luck
