If you are in the least bit handy it'll be a breeze. Just did mine yesterday and it's probably the 10th one I've done, not just my own... Order the seals on Amazon (should have upper and lower seal) and get them in a week. It will have instructions in the package of seals.
Rubber gloves, sockets/wrenches, roll of blue shop towels, Walmart bag for trash, scotchbrite pad, strong cleaner like Purple Power, small scraper (I use a medium screwdriver), phillips screwdriver, 303 protectant, and a knee pad and you're set. After it's all cleaned up I use the 303 to wipe down the inside after it's clean and it helps to stay clean longer. Make sure the ball is spotless before you put the new seal in or you're wasting your time. I know this from the first one I did...
It took me about 45 minutes yesterday and 90% of that is cleaning. Hope this helps.
