TopCoat® F11 Polish & Sealer

Hello,

Has anyone used this product on their gelcoat RV? I did search the forum and found only one person. They stated from one angle it looked great but from another it appeared smeared. Also it is rather pricey as well.

TopCoat

Looking at all approaches to protect the RV particularly from UV damage.

The issue I have is that I'm disabled which limits my ability for physical exertion and ladders are absolutely off limits.

I looked at mobile detailers and it would cost between $300 and $400 for a wash and wax. This is prohibitive on a disability income. Also not sure what type of wax is used etc.Want something with some UV protection.

Tried finding some teenagers that would want to make some money and no luck. It does not seem to be an issue with money but rather they just are not interested. Offer was for $200 and I supply all the materials.

This TopCoat is just supposed to be wiped on a clean RV and wiped off. I just keep thinking if it is to good to be true it probably isn't.

Your thoughts?

Yes I believe surface prep is key. The good news for me is we just picked up our 5th wheel last June and it has been underground stored in a mine since the end of September. The dealer sad they waxed it but I do not believe that if they did that they used a quality wax. But at least I do not have to deal with oxidation or really embedded dirt.

A good wash and it should be ready for whatever treatment I decide on.

Yes durability is a factor but I'm still wondering how good this stuff is on a gelcoat finish. The Wrangler is painted metal and as long as the paint is good the stuff should shine up nice.
