I keep thinking I should buy myself a TPMS for my TT, as I see a lot of highway time. I had two flats on my previous TT, neither of which I noticed or felt until the tire was shredded beyond belie...

BUT, if you do go with a valve stem mounted transmitter, replace any rubber valve stems with metal ones.
Otherwise your system will warn you very nicely, just as a tire goes down due to a fractured valve stem.
